I was unsure who to vote for at the next GE but this incident has pushed me 100% into the Reform camp .
Nigel Farage is being accused of incitement for his comments. An unbelievable attempt to block free speech , Labour are so desperate to stop Farage winning they ignore the truth and attempt to stop free speech with false accusations .

That playbook has been played to death. Any criticism of Sturgeon is mysoginistic, any criticism of Kahn is islamophonic, any criticism of Mandelson is homophobic, any criticism of Lammy is racist. All of which dismissals invalidate any legitimate concerns in some minds.

The judge said this guy was of previous 'good character' when he sentenced him.

It's now come to light that Vickrum Digwa was accused of stealing around £1,000 worth of ceremonial "shaster" (or Sikh ceremonial) knives from his local Sikh temple. He was arrested and released without charge at the time.

So Digwa was known to police prior to the murder.

The temple reportedly banned him, citing issues like anger problems, lying, and an obsession with weapons.

It's as though every point raised against the consensus in this case has crumbled.

I'd have thought the start point would be 25 years as a knife was the weapon used to murder Henry. And given what happened I would not be looking at any mitigation.

100%, part of the mitigation was " his young age "

The judge's comments were disgusting and no wonder people are outraged.

I just wish that the outrage did not result in attacking the police , which just gives an excuse to the enablers of two tier society to say I told you so.

Never forget Starmer condemned those in the Southport violence before any trials had taken place.

Just a thought but Sikh's are allowed to carry their ceremonial knives and as far as I can tell most Sikhs are peaceful and law abiding.

If they are allowed a pass on knife carrying then this should come with a penalty. Any Sikh convicted of a knife offence should have an automatic stiffer sentence as they have betrayed their community.

There is a video on X of the murderer waving a sword about in public, so much for good character.

The murder weapon was not ceremonial

The UK is in a bloody mess , We arrived at this point by bending over backwards and giving various minority’s and left-wing groups far too much power and credence .
Time to address this madness and stop pampering and treading on coals to appease the far-left and various religious groups whose cultures /Beliefs clearly don’t align with our Traditional Laws , Morals , Beliefs and behaviour .
In our attempt to appease every ethnic group and religion we’ve created a completely divided nation with city’s like London and Birmingham for example being almost separate states within the host Nation .

Apparently his knife carrying is for religious purposes so any knife carried must be locked up securely and the only key is in the possession of the headman at the Temple/Church who must be responsible for a knife transit any transgression means the temple is taken away and becomes a day centre for the down and outs. The police MUST do spot checks on any suspected knife carrier to ensure the law is upheld.

Yup. I have just seen Chris's post.

I don't think we need to ban Sikh's carrying ceremonial knives but like I said if one was to use it then they get an additional sanction.
