It’s not, in my opinion, newsworthy here. No doubt immigration ministers in most countries are making statements on something every day.So is this one newsworthy? Or I you saying he didn’t say it because it’s in the Mail? Or does it just not fit with what the public should be told? At last a politician with the balls to say it as it is

Why pick out one? The answer can only be that he is saying something that fits the Mail’s agenda and will be well received by their readership. Not that it’s newsworthy or important.
