Super injunctions are wonderful things, just ask Starmer, until the courts lift them and everyone can see what you are up to.

Hiding your cock ups even from Parliament, not a good look.

I have no problem with sheltering those who helped us against the Taliban. They were dhat on and their lives in danger, many have been hunted down and killed already

I understand that some of these are wronguns but of all the things to cover up this isn’t one of them imo. They helped save our soldiers lives and some died alongside our troops. Does 2TK actually know what read the room means !

The Tories at it again spending tax payers cash on a superinjunction covering a data breach that cost the lives of many afghans who aided British Forces. No wonder the right are flocking to Reform sheer typical Tory incompetence and money wasting.

I know it isn't news but the British army has been fighting overseas with these circumstances for centuries.

Only in the last, I'd say fifty years has this, 'oh but won't you think of the foreigners you left behind' argument been made. It wasn't even considered previously.

How about I put this to you. Fighting aboard does not mean you can come back with a truck load of helpers from very foreign cultures and put them up in our towns and villages.....taking our housing stock, further breaking down our social infrastructure....involved in crime at far higher rates than locals.

People choose to help us for many many different reasons....money would be the most common. This quaint idea that they all fit into this model citizen concept who loves the Anglos is pure disneyland.

The argument that you are going to bring these people back to Blighty with the almost inevitable consequences that you end up giving all these people the same rights as my children......children born from a line of ancestors with only one loyalty.

I find that argument insulting.

They are not English/Scottish/Welsh/Irish/British. Helping us does not mean you get to live here.....You get paid and then you feck off. If we can't do our job without that understanding then we feck off ourselves as we shouldn't be there.

It's a bit like the way the Gurkhas were treated.

Gurkhas are paid!......Do you think Gurkhas would be joining the British Army if they weren't being paid?

Being a foreigner after your service to this country you are thanked, rewarded and then you go back to your own.

If they are injured then we pay for that, we don't forget.....However, being a foreign soldier in service to this country does not give you nationalisation.

This was always the way.

Until people put the ancestral peoples of these islands first, before anyone else, then we will continue to lose this country....If it can even be won back at this point......and they will have played some part in losing it.

They are paid but the issue was over their pensions which were paid at a far inferior rate.

I would rather 30 k of these than the boat people tbh. At least they understand the word work and speak the language. Neither I agree is ideal but if you close the door the next time they join the enemy !

I'll refer you to the post above the one you made.

Egalitarianism is not how you run a country.

Well, it is if you want to decline it.....and that's sure been the direction of travel for many a decade now.

Yeah all those Zulus we left behind during the Zulu Wars.....oh dear, they might have joined the enemy.

Put your own first.

Fair enough but if they're part of the British army they should be entitled to the same benefits.
