Immigration

So one person scores a home run and then surprise surprise they get to bring not only their immediate family but Uncle Tom Cobley et al.

No doubt the immigration numbers will just count this as 1 rather than 18.

As I said before several times I worked in that area in the earlier part of my career, in the past tense.

I've done many years of work directly with public, most of it towards removing people who shouldn't be here and some of it quite crazy. That's shaped the view I have today. If that alarms you then quite frankly I really don't care.

You are articulate and I respect that you have a strong view though obviously I don't agree with most of it. I see a lot of respect of differing political opinions from others on here. But that doesn't come from you when replying to people who don't largely tow your hardline views.
I suspect you worked for the same organisation as myself, albeit I was frontline you more after entry? I understand where you are coming from, having spent many years interviewing asylum seekers, some accounts very harrowing but many totally spurious ( and in some cases a complete pisstake) and being a Visa Officer in the Sub Continent, this has possibly shaped the view I have today, a right wing view ( not far right) but, of course, for having my views, many of which have stemmed from experience, I am labelled a racist. What a time to be alive!
As matter of interest, and you don’t have to say, why did you leave? The s*** Senior management? The constant attempt to change working’s conditions?

What can you say

No you’re not. Never once thought this about you. Not sure how anyone would.

The legal system is currently against the British people.

All these people need to lose their jobs.

And there you go firing off again. I never said I was against deportations of foreign national criminals and being tougher in that regard. In fact I've said I support that.

Do I support mass indiscriminate deportations ICE style here. No I don't.

But those deportations are fantasy. ICE deportations have been conducted like this for decades and with similar numbers. It's only now that liberals have decided to attack them and make it a thing.

And as for "firing off", you mean "reply". Clearly you actually don't respect other views.

Hi. Yes we would've worked in the same organisation. I was front line and pre-entry too in Africa and Asia. And similar experiences by the sound of it.

As for leaving I was out of the front line when the big drive came to change working conditions, but yeah agree with your views on the management at senior level. I left mostly as there was an opportunity to go into work connected to emergency services.

I do respect others views.

You've said very clearly you don't respect my views, because in your view you can't fathom how why I'm not of a similar view to you from working in the sector. So it feels a little rich to say I'm disrespectful of others (in a more collective sense but I assume you are implying right wing) simply because you don't like my choice of words. Quite frankly I've seen a lot worse words on this site in the past, so sorry if that offends you.

I said 'firing off' because you were conveying the impression that I was against all deportations. I'm not and I have said that.

Still I just think we are going to have to agree to disagree.

You seem to think I'm stupid. I never said such a thing, you said you act within the law. Fine, but it's a subjective argument for you to make a decision on. They tell a story, you go with it or not. What I'm saying is that I think you'd feel differently should laws really tighten up and you are then deporting people that you are currently letting go.

does Immigration lead to 'overcrowded housing' ? with way too much pressure being put onto the footprint of a single dwelling ? and Planning by-laws often ignored ?

I bet it doesn't happen in Poland ?

Nope never said you were stupid.

"The mother of Henry Nowak's killer has been sentenced today for assisting her son by removing a knife from the scene of the murder"

"Throughout the trial, Kaur chose not to give evidence before the court, and used a Punjabi interpreter as she received her sentence."
I thought the sentence was supposed to align with the years for the main crime, ie life minimum 21 years and therefore nearer 10 years?

it reminds me of Ian Huntleys girlfriend.....perverting the course of justice......3 years. She didnt do the killing herself.

Also the girlfriend of that bloke on SouthWest Trains who stabbed a commuter a dozen times in 2 seconds. It started with a dispute about a carrybag in the walkway.

She did turn against him.

Came across as the usual morally and emotionally confused girl who didn't have much life knowledge.....Not an excuse but there are a lot of girls like that who are very impressionable.

That said, I'd like to think that the vast majority of self respecting birds would have never have attached themselves to such a creep in the first place.

Absolute gormless wastes of space ruining lives without a thought in their heads.
