I think we can say that while we don't want anyone being burnt in houses, we don't want them here.

We were never asked.

For the very obvious and good reason that we live in a representative democracy. Not a direct democracy in which we consult the people on every subject before acting.

We choose the MPs we want to take decisions on our behalf. Using the time and expert advice their job provides to reach conclusions.

Why do you expect to be asked? You were asked at the GE who you wanted to represent you.

I can't remember who, but a while back there was someone on here boasting about how much tax he paid, he said he worked in some kind of consulting company that gave advice on geo political and economic matters.

Whoever it was got all teary and triggered when his professional life was questioned/derided based on the posts he made on global affairs on here which were on a level of generic AI responses

We did not live in a democracy while we were shackled to the EU, the MEPs that we elected had no power to propose or make the laws that governed us.

Some thoughts:

Unless they are 'culturally British'; who would know, if the burning is indiscriminate? As you say: 'unfortunate' But it was 'deliberate'.

What? Any African migrants? African migrants who have settled legally? African migrants who are second generation? Just 'African'? Or just north African?

You say 'burnt out'. What about burnt to death? Ok?

If so, you'd champion the indiscriminate killing of migrants, would you?

Places like Somalia, Algeria, Egypt, Sudan - they need removal.

Agree the Citizens of the above Nations should be banned from entering the UK and residing here at this present time along with any other states that have significant amounts of extremists /Rebels etc .
The border checks , Police and Home office seem to be a pushover for extremists and violent criminals .
More interested in catching and imprisoning protestors and those speaking out about the dangers of mass immigration online .
Political failure is the main cause but the Politicians are never held to account for causing civil unrest and deaths .
