Our wonderful Country is being betrayed by the people who were elected to run it.

How depressing it all is.

i used to think like that. Today, my mantra is "Let them all in. More and more. Stack the "social-contract-bonfire" higher and higher everyday and burn baby burn.
Turn Western Europe into another Rome circa 400 AD, see if i care anymore.

I must say that it did seem unusually quiet when I was there in August.

What tosh! One person’s opinion written up as though it’s that of the majority. Which I can assure it isn’t.

It seemed a quieter than usual summer to me. The cost of living crisis at home together with a general decline in international visitors to the UK seems to be reason. We are now seen as an expensive destination with others offering better value.

You are back banging this tired old drum. One that’s full of holes that you either cannot, or refuse to, see! It makes as much sense as good noise.

Modern democracies don’t just enact the majority will of the people. They also protect the rights of minorities, uphold individual liberties and defend the rule of law. Thus ensuring the tyranny of the majority doesn’t exist.

These are democracies in which representatives are elected to carefully consider that which is in everyone’s collective best interest. We have the responsibility of deciding who those representatives are. We don’t pass them mandates.

Our representatives are not elites. They are part of us.

Yeah, but that's a lot more innocent people suffering.

Unless you're young and fighting fit I wouldn't look forward to all that.

It won't be pretty and it's nothing I'm personally looking forward to.

If it happens it happens anyway......Hope for change.
