Immigration

And Evette Cooper and the Home Office put in a last minute appeal, which thankfully failed. I think the plan is still to appeal against it, but in the meantime, these asylum seekers have to be put somewhere. (sent back to France ?)
Edward Brown KC, for the government, said any injunction could lead to other councils making similar applications.
"That would aggravate the pressures on the asylum estate," he add

More than that, it's really going to upset the electorate and British people. Where are they going to house these immigrant kiddy-fiddlers, and other potential criminals ?
Yvette Cooper makes me sick. Looking at her, listening to her, thinking about her reading her name. She’s repulsive. She can take in a few. Why not, the rancid cow?

Where to house illegal immigrants? Well they set up Nightingale hospitals pretty quick.

They could set up these immigrant centres in Ministers Constituencies, perhaps close to their Constituency house. Or in neighbourhoods where Minister's actual family houses are. And not just this Government, but all the previous Ministers who endorsed this swamping of our isle.

Ask the Chinese how they do it.

Ask the Chinese how they do it.

With a huge supply chain, lots of technology, very big cranes and no planning restrictions, objections from local residents, bat surveys, health and safety restrictions or need for every stage to be signed off by building control.

Ask the Chinese how they do it.

We should be building a detention centre on a remote island for all of the migrants that will be coming here for years to come.

If we don't plan for this, the situation will become unsustainable quite soon.

Our politicians should be jailed for negligence.

That’s easy to answer. They go to jail, just like any such convicted paedophile. It’s all the others that creates the problems for which there aren’t easy or obvious answers. Nimby court victories like this just moves the problem around. It doesn’t solve it.

The government will now need to take action but it won’t be the kind of action that will be approved of here. I suspect they will ban public protests within a defined area around asylum hotels by giving the police authority to do so on the grounds of public order and also limit the power of local authorities to object on the basis of planning law change of use.

These people need to be housed somewhere unless and until their applications can be more speedily processed or ways found for them to be discouraged from arriving.

it reminds me of a Football Stadium disaster. A few fellas fail to control the gates, a flood of people enter, and a calamity ensues.

Decades later, the damage still hurts.

The Soviets jailed a few engineers after Chernobyl. And a fat lot of good that did.

Immigration into the West ? it will only stop after the West has become a worse kip than those source-nations from whence the dinghy boat lads arrive. Its certain to happen. Whether its one week or one decade away, its very hard to predict.

They need to be deported to some sh1t hole or anywhere and if they are housed it should be in a warehouse sized shared room on a mattress. You know all this but you’re too soft and part of the problem. I could say more…

Actually move them all into your road and nearby roads.

It seems quite simple to me. House them in hotels in areas that are Labour or Lib Dem who are fully supportive of migrants being housed here - the people who object to others who don't want them in their area - and once the statistics show there's no threat to the local population then it can be widened to other constituencies. Somewhere like Truro comes to mind.
It must be quite easy to match those constituencies that are pro-migrant with needy migrants themselves surely? Unless, of course, it's different it if it affects you directly.

Wouldn't surprise me if we have another lockdown due to some varied disease s***. During last lockdown how many crossed the channel whilst you couldn't see your family, attend a funeral. Wear a mask. f*** me every scrote up to no good in the UK wears one now. How the laws change.

It’s easy to write such things but you know why both are impractical in our country. Where the rule of law and observance of international treaties is still respected.

It has nothing to do with me, or anyone else, being soft. It’s just the way a democracy like ours works.

In an authoritarian state, as the USA has become, it could be done like that. Do you want that here? Really?

As I don’t know anyone at all who is pro illegal migration you would struggle to find whole constituencies that are. There are only two real Hotels in Truro itself, catering for business visitors. Most tourists stay on the coast and the Hotels are very full during the season. Some overcapacity in Newquay has been used but I doubt if too many would want the kind of contracts offered. Using off season accommodation in caravan and lodge resorts presents issues because they could only be used in the winter and aren’t suitable, or approved, for such use. They could be upgraded, as some have been for use by the Council to house the homeless, but providing supervision would be a challenge.

If the Epping hotel ruling is upheld and they need to empty the hotels of illegals the value of housing suitable for HMO occupancy may see quite a kick upwards.

Not really that simple because about half of working class Labour voters are planning to vote Reform.
