Immigration

And our leaders are absolute c****, of the highest order. I'd say they make Starmer look competent, but that would be a complete exaggeration. And likely against the Laws of Physics. They make Idi Amin look rational.

Correct Eagle, Starmer is a charming balanced fair-minded Conservative compared to all the Parliament in Ireland. Imagine having the Government AND the opposition all being a Gary O'Lineker.

There will never be a Trump/Farage/Marine LePen type in Ireland. The Woke-WEF globalist grip on the country is today stronger than that of the Catholic Church in 1950.

and as for Immigration ? even when the locals stop having babies.....still the numbers are difficult to understand ?

I laughed but it's not funny having to live with it. Nor with Starmer's KGB in the UK. Here, it's self policing.
If you're not unflinchingly pro immigration, gay whatever and pro Hamas then you're nothing at all. Cancelled.
We have Israeli relatives. Sample comment from the other day (to my partner). "You're still talking to those Zionists. If somebody doesn't tell me they're pro Palestine, I won't speak to them. I despise them". Yada yada yada.

a young conservative little fella was going nuts online. Seemingly he researched the schedule for our Taoiseach (PM). And it was something along the lines like.....

Monday : attend an EU climate conference in Brussels
Tuesday : have coffee with Palestine action in Madrid
Wednesday : Refugee help council at New York
Thursday : off to Tokyo for an LGBT academic conference.
Friday : visit Ukraine for a photo opportunity.
Saturday : zero emissions Workshop at Copenhagen
Sunday : something similar to all of the above.....

anybody got the Youtube link ?

and all this from a country that had a riot. A riot after some young schoolkids got stabbed. Stabbed by an unemployed Algerian nutter already known to the Police for carrying knives.

hey Brits, we will happily take Josef Starmlin, for a Swap. If you will unburden us of our Eric Honecker. You will ? i will in me hole.

Muslim preaching played loudly over loudspeakers.

We need them for the NHS.
well , i do recall a nice lady on the BBC telling me about how multiculturalism brings all this wonderful new food to the UK. Not the bland pale stale stuff of the 1950's. Pity the poor inhabitants of Poland/Hungary who must indeed go hungry.

I think we have enough food choices and I struggle to see what multicultural benefits most of the recent migrants bring to England or Britain.

I like all Asian food but I’ve tried African food and I’m not a fan at all. Seriously, what does East Africa bring to Britain? And West African food isn’t very appealing either.

Then there’s the Middle Eastern countries where migrants have come from. How are we benefiting from Kurdish migrants and their food and the countries in that region?

And while on the subject. How many of them are doctors and nurses saving the NHS? None of them maybe?

The thing with food is that once you've got the recipe then any competent cook can provide it. A lot of what we regard as "authentic" foreign food is only an approximation of it's original form, if it's known at all in it's home countries.

Very true. Went to a good Italian restaurant recently. I don’t know where they’re from but they aren’t Italian. I tried to make a joke when they offered to spoon Parmesan cheese on my seafood linguine as it’s just not right to Italians. But no, they clearly didn’t know what I was talking about.

There’s a lot of foreign owned ‘Spanish food’ restaurants opening up in Spain. Plenty of Romanian, Chinese and South American businesses.

But I certainly won’t be trying to make any African food. Different Jollof rice is fine, but it’s just spiced rice.

an Indian friend told me that at least half the 'Indian' restaurants in London are not really Indian at all. Its often from 10 or 20 countries surrounding India - and not of the Hindu religion.
But they just don't get the same throughput of customers. Not if they put an unfamiliar country on the Sign over the door. So they all say 'Indian' food. Or Indian restaurant.

Same problem with Irish pubs. Most of them are about as Irish as Rutger Hauer. When travelling to foreign climes, i always make a point of addressing barstaff in an Irish pub in Gaelic/Irish. 99% of the time i am greeted with a blank stare. Often followed by a "sorry guvnor , we don't speak Polish/Serbo Croat/Lithuanian. We only got the local language ( Spanish, Japanese etc ) and of course the King's English".

So i replied with a greeting in the King's. And then felt a bit sheepish ordering alcohol.

Not "top of the morning to you to be sure" from a leprechaun?

Definitely not a proper Irish pub.

2TK hasn’t got the bollox to do this !

News stating that Epping Council has won its high court request to stop the bell hotel housing asylum seekers. Not sure how permanent it is…
And Evette Cooper and the Home Office put in a last minute appeal, which thankfully failed. I think the plan is still to appeal against it, but in the meantime, these asylum seekers have to be put somewhere. (sent back to France ?)
Edward Brown KC, for the government, said any injunction could lead to other councils making similar applications.
"That would aggravate the pressures on the asylum estate," he add

More than that, it's really going to upset the electorate and British people. Where are they going to house these immigrant kiddy-fiddlers, and other potential criminals ?
