Now that the dust has settled what have we got? A few unknown players have come in, aargh yes Timber, I recognise that name plays for Arsenal, what do you mean we have got his brother?

Well their names sound like they can play a bit, but are they any good, will they fit in with the intensity of Premiership and European football? On the face of it we have got a lot of loanees, but held onto JPM and Sarr! As for JPM we know he is a clown 🤡 and a complete arsehole, but it’s Sarr that we need to look at. Will he sulk and down tools or will he get a second wind and roll his sleeves up and do the job he is paid to do?

My take on it is, Liverpool pulled out of the deal after trying to low ball offer us at 50 million, then when Gapko didn’t make the move to City that was it, end of!
Personally I think he is going to sulk and down tools, he did it at Marseille and they wanted him out of the door. I don’t care what he has done for us so far, to me he is a low life f***ing scum bag and should be cunted off if he pulls on a Palace shirt again. I’m fed up with these wankers who we pay a fortune to watch.

I wish we had taken the 50 million and slammed the door on him!

But I'm more optimistic and hoping he is older and a bit wiser now than Marseille. What options does he have with 3 years on his contract? Hope that by going on strike or playing terribly that Liverpool will be back next year when they really didn't want him that bad this time around

His adviser presumably wanting their cut got him to play along to try and force a move. But totally fantasy with 3 years left. What we'll panic into taking a £20m loss because he's thrown a sulk.

I wasn't even necessarily having a dig at them. Mateta maybe. The other two I feel less convinced they pushed for a move. We readily believed a bit of clickbait.

I hope you are right, but there is no disguising it here he was manufacturing a move to Liverpool along with his agent. We always put more blame on the agents when these things happen, but we have had this occurring a few times now with other players.
