The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has written to Home Secretary Yvette Cooper and Met Police commissioner Sir Mark Rowley.
Whilst I agree with the Human Rights watch dog it's a pity they only speak up now, didn't hear from them when the so called far right had demonstrations.
Free speech is for all, not just the left.

My point Dan, is that if a jury of the representative public doesn’t think that a jail sentence-or any punishment-is applicable in these circumstances, then sentencing guidelines for when there isn’t a jury are hopelessly adrift from the reality of what the public want. Get it?
The jury literally don’t take any personal circumstances into account - their one and only job is literally to assess whether the person broke the law of which they are claiming they are not guilty of doing so.
Personal circumstances are taken into account when sentencing if found guilty.
I suggest it would be ‘common sense’ to educate yourself a bit more about the British legal system before posting more on this.
