And takes as almost as bad a penalty as Ebs, he’s perfect for us!The Sun, i know, is saying we are in for Elliott, probably rubbish, but, loan with obligation to buy, agreed pre contract for Guehi next summer?, IMO Elliott would be perfect, 22, Londoner, Left footed, ticks all the boxes, so that wont happen 🙄
Still, at least him & Eze have something in common, crap penalty takers. The Sun, i know, is saying we are in for Elliott, probably rubbish, but, loan with obligation to buy, agreed pre contract for Guehi next summer?, IMO Elliott would be perfect, 22, Londoner, Left footed, ticks all the boxes, so that wont happen 🙄
Or a loan with obligation to sign next season! Hopefully the scousers would give us a good deal especially considering the last 2 we signed off then!I listened to the radio commentary of the Wembley game. The commentator knows Elliot and after the England 21 win he interviewed him. Elliot's main concern then was lack of first team appearances at Liverpool he is not likely to get much game time with their new signings.
So my guess is that he is keen for a move if we can agree a fee.
What about Harvey Smith, he knows the victory sign, backwards. He's not that good.
You definitely have to be of a certain age to understand that. What about Harvey Smith, he knows the victory sign, backward
I had a feeling the victory sign was that way around originally. A bit like Elliott being similar to signing Benteke and Sakho but without even their pedigree. He's not worth anywhere near what they're saying. Some things don't change. What about Harvey Smith, he knows the victory sign, backwards.
Yep, and i am 🤓You definitely have to be of a certain age to understand that.![]()
Apparently he’s the same height as Foden, Mbeumo, Gibbs-White, Rico Lewis and a few others who have done ok.The issue with Elliott is finding the best position to get the most out of his talent. He's an excellent passer of the ball and creative, but he's quite small and he's not the quickest. If £40 million is what Liverpool want then that seems steep for a player who's struggled to hold down a spot in any position. £25-30 million would seem more reasonable. Most likely he'll probably end up at Spam or Spuds, or a league where his size is less of an issue.
He's certainly good enough for our threadbare first team squad who have a European adventure ahead of them this season. He's not that good.
But not at the price being bandied around. If he's that good, Liverpool would want to keep him but they clearly don't see him as having a future at Anfield. But if they halve their fee to £20m then he would be a decent option for rotation. He's certainly good enough for our threadbare first team squad who have a European adventure ahead of them this season.

I rate Elliott highly and would love to see him in our squad. I’m not usually a fan of swap deals but on this occasion can see something working with him and Guehi. He's certainly good enough for our threadbare first team squad who have a European adventure ahead of them this season.
