Agree, there have been several apologists for the child rape gangs on here, generally with a " it's hard for people from different backgrounds " nuance or simply an anti-white vulnerable working class vibe.

The politicians , local and national, who tried to cover this all up for fear of offending their muslim vote should be severely punished.

But they won't be.

Labour sacrificing all these poor girls for vote retention are now screwed by the pro Gaza and Green votes.

That's true but if the results of the enquiry help to prevent future occurrences of this abuse by informing the decision making of those in authority it will have been worthwhile.

Dismissed? No. Pointed out the need not to tarnish everyone sharing the same ethnicity with the crimes. We need people on our side and not pushed onto the other. So describe criminals as criminals. Not by any arbitrary characteristics. Ethnicity being but one.

Why not - I wasn't involved; but it would be good to see any failures and culpability officially recorded after years of assurances that everything was done for the right reasons.

t's not arbitrary if it is largely one ethnicity committing a particular crime. It's specifically relevant to the investigation. What will you say when you see the statistics and grooming gangs are, for example, 80% Pakistani? Will that be irrelevant? How will it be irrelevant? Should the police then investigate South Africans due to how irrelevant it is?
On the wider point, it's like turning a blind eye to who carries knives and commits knife crime due to "racist". That's worked out well too. Target the people who are doing the crimes - it's not a hard concept and a basic of crime and policing.

And if the airport men are doing this, what other men in uniforms are doing something similar regarding 'Asian Grooming Gangs'...... Certainly the media have described the odd Pakistani Rape Gang as an 'Asian Grooming'.......a deliberate euphemism akin to a hairdressing salon.

Culpability has already been acknowledged in some cases but if there really are others then they too should be required to account. If they made mistakes when under pressure and trying to follow a policy, then that would be scapegoating.

No one fears losing the “Muslim Vote” when it’s more likely that any perceived lack of action would lose far more votes!

Trying to manage the response in a way that didn’t alienate the whole community when their cooperation was the key to identifying the criminals is what was done.
