Nketiah will have that break out season any season now. Despite him being 27 without a really good goal scoring season at any stage despite playing down a level during that. I am sure he will come good despite all the evidence and won’t get to the end of his career with everyone going “he just wasn’t vey good was he?”

Goals will always come whether from John Terry or Troy deeney own goals or in off the shin from Mateta.

I feel the same way - we need to stay in games longer and that comes down to being organized out of possession, defending from the front, cutting out the individual mistakes and then using the ball well when we get it.

I think we might struggle to achieve some fluency in these areas for the next 4-8 games but a bit like Iraola at Bournemouth I can see it coming together with a following wind and with the signings we have made.

We create plenty of chances, we just don't put any of them away.

Id debate the ‘plenty’ part, it’s all a bit huff and puff from us a lot of the time with not that many clear cut chances, but when we do get one or two good chances, you’re right, we couldn’t hit a barn door with a banjo as the saying goes

In his career Kamada is 5 for 5 on penalties (thanks Google). Might do him good to score a couple more.

A friend just messaged me asking who is most likely to score goals (excluding Mateta & Sarr) for palace this season.

I took a moment to consider and am not seriously overthinking it……. I couldn’t actually give a name. No one strikes me as being likely to take on the scoring responsibility.

Pino from free kicks?
Nketiah our best finisher but will he start with the new signings?
Strand Larsen likely to start but hasn’t looked like scoring for a while.

Who takes out penalties? If we get one against Fulham I have no idea who takes it?!!!

Am I over worrying and can anyone suggest who singing to score our goals for the next few (very important) weeks?!?!
