A friend just messaged me asking who is most likely to score goals (excluding Mateta & Sarr) for palace this season.

I took a moment to consider and am not seriously overthinking it……. I couldn’t actually give a name. No one strikes me as being likely to take on the scoring responsibility.

Pino from free kicks?
Nketiah our best finisher but will he start with the new signings?
Strand Larsen likely to start but hasn’t looked like scoring for a while.

Who takes out penalties? If we get one against Fulham I have no idea who takes it?!!!

Am I over worrying and can anyone suggest who singing to score our goals for the next few (very important) weeks?!?!

He definitely is our best finisher, and i think the best CF we have, when fit

Good point. Milivojević was top goalscorer at one stage and then Ayew a couple of season later. Goals can come from an unexpected quarter.
 
I was going to say where’s Ian Wright when you need him? but even he would struggle in this team up front on his own without Brighty and Alan Smith next to him, the lack of chances we create and the poor delivery and set pieces
 
Goals will have to come from somewhere in the absence of Sarr, Mateta and Munoz who between them I read scored 60% of our goals last season.
It's part of the reason, dull as it is, why I think we'd be better served working on keeping clean sheets at present.

Talking of Stand-Larsen... Maybe I missed it but did anyone see he wasn't noticeable in the training videos from this week? (Not too disimilar from his performances on the pitch I guess). I don't think I saw him once... Late move to Turkey???

Seems unlikely as he's in the Europa League squad.

Huge assumption, but on socials he has some pics which looked like he was in Norway for a funeral. Perhaps that explains it. But like I say, I’m putting 2 and 2 together there…….
