Glasner

Granite Boots Brolin?
Watching him occupy his favourite spot, away from any harm on the center circle.

Like Buddha, spectating the game as the players from both sides were forced to circumnavigate his vast girth.

There were moments when I hoped someone would fit him with said boots and toss him into the Thames.

Couldn't you have said throw him?

After the poor start to last season, I said that Glasner’s one dimensional style would not work, and I suggested that he wasn’t going to be the manager we needed, I was wrong, the very thing about not changing from his style has IMO, become his strength, yes, I think we may see some drab 0-0 results against the lesser teams, but any team that attack us, risk the thought of being ripped to pieces on the break, I think we will see Glasner at Palace for a few more years, for me it’s the perfect match.
Interesting point, but in the end it's pure speculation.

Pep Guardiola, who some people think is one of the greatest managers ever, has never proven himself at a smaller club, where his one dimensional style of squandering a few hundred million every season would not work. It could even be argued that he's been stuck in places like Barcelona, Munich and Manchester because of those limitations. If he offered to manage Crystal Palace for peanuts, should that be turned down? Maybe (at least I'd have my doubts) - but you'll never know for sure until he gets a chance.
