Glasner did not bring Forest any of their past success though. He has 2026 Notts Forest to manage.

Preston would get massive crowds and generate big revenue if the got back to the top flight and stayed there. Every bit as much as Forestclearly not.
What crowds do Preston get?
What annual revenue do they generate?
Are they in the Premier league - now or ever?
Yes they won the FA cup about 90 years ago and the league over 100 years ago, but i would say that is almost irrelevant today. Yes Forest have twice won Europe's top honour almost 50 years ago but they have bigger crowds and higher revenue than us, and have done for a number of years.

Woolworths were big once 😬😬Welcome to your new job at Northern Rock. We used to be a big company.

They still are big. It's the pick 'n' mix that got small.Woolworths were big once 😬😬
This is very good point. It’s actually clever by the liar to get out while the getting out keeps his stock high. The success glosses over the fact for large parts of last season we were dog s*** bad. And any other occasion (not being in Europe and with a good chance of winning) the Liar would have been sacked for his outburst let alone the dross and losing run we went on. Maracrackers will never put up with a 15 game loss. I can’t wait for it to implode. They are a 'bigger' club than us.
We are currently a more successful club than they are however.
I'd suggest that's the conflation.
Glasner's trick is to go to club's where any success will be considered an overachievement and expecations are lower. He has that with Forest. With us he would have to sustain success which can only be achieved through winning the Europa League, far from guranteed.
Therefore we no longer fit his modus operandi and Forest do. I don't give a f**k about Forest nor Glasner's career now he has left. He had an amazing impact here but times move on, so I'm only worried about Palace now. Time to give the whole Forest thing a rest, I think the Marianakis period will not be a successful one for them and will end terribly. I'm not envious.
One thing for sure there fat arsed chairman is bigger than ours. Fat kebab eating c***.i'm not sure using attendances as 'evidence' supports your case.
When Palace finished 3rd in 1991 we regularly got 15k crowds and even in our promotion year in 2013 our average was 17k.
Forest have always had larger attendances than us (since we lost so many in the early 80s) and when they got promoted from the championship their average was 28k. Since they got back up they have managed to slightly increase their capacity to above 30k, hence why their attendances have edged up above 30k.
I agree Forest are not a big club, however, they are slightly bigger than us. Supporter base, ground, annual revenue etc all support this.
