Didn't miss it... Glasner, from what I saw isn't motivated by money as the primary reason for choosing a club... the challenge and lure of London and the prem drew him to palace - he did really well.. all things considered.. he wanted to kick on and it definitely wasn't about his wages...
so here we are, he's missed out on a European club, which we all expected him to get, so it's plan b..
However, if you're going to settle for a mid table team, you may as well take the biggest offer on the table and look like a highly sort after manager in the process.. he won't get them into Europe for the next season, so what's it about... saving face.
