Glasner Out

I couldn't believe how slow he looked running in on goal.bhe was never fast but that chance in Sunday, he looked like he was running through water.
If he does have a knee injury that would explain it. Then why is he playing at all then? Because there's no one else? Surely there's someone that can beat a goalie 1 on 1? Or at least provide something. As it is, he's just getting worse.

He is playing because Glasner clearly does not rate Uche and does not want to trigger the clause that means we need to buy him.

We are in a real mess right now. I think we will see more exits and possibly no new players coming in as who would want to sign for a club knowing we do not have a manager after the end of the season?

Ok maybe we get a plan or two.

Parish has the chance to get rid of Ollie a few weeks back, get a manager in and allow them to have a couple of weeks of a window to do something.

Bit not is we will no doubt be told Ollie wanted a player early in the window and we got one, but then we will see a scramble on Monday and still not sign anyone leaving us reliant on JP who frankly now appears to have forgotten where the goal is and it's importance in the game

You have to ask yourself why Parish didn't do that.

I think the answer is that he's stuck between a rock and a hard place.

A few years ago there were ' firefighters ' like Allardyce, Roy, Pulis - those kind of guys are not around anymore.

Appointing a manager mid-season is far from ideal. It seems Parish assessed the situation and concluded that retaining Glasner was the less risky option. I've no idea who is both suitable and available to take over in any case - any ideas ?

As for JP if he stays we might see some improvement with the return of Munoz and Sarr. If he goes then it has to be on Monday now you would hope. Like it or not we need him for Sunday because I can't see Palace bringing in a replacement before that. Although after the Guehi issues maybe I'm being over optimistic !

The ball was under his feet i shouted at the telly get out of your feet , we're the Chelsea player was in a race against Mitchell so the ball was well out of his feet when it come to the finish

Really highlighted the difference in class. JP would have 100% not scored that chance.
Correct because the player would have caught him earlier Mateta was in 18yrd box the Chelsea player had all our half , and is a different type of player , as I have said before you can't teach 1-1 its a natural thing rather than coached , hence most like 1 touch shot

February will define our season, we have 3 of the bottom clubs to play plus Brighton and we still need 10-12 points.

Its over for Burnley and Wolves but Wet Spam can still catch us. Less than 6 points Parish will have to act and get someone else in.

This splashing the cash is very unusual.
Chats over late night dinners. 🙂 I wonder who paid, or did they split the bill ?

Certainly the big money purchases are a grab at Premiership survival. But is there more to it ? How much input did Glasner have, and if the results turn, will Glasner /Parish have a re-think ?

It certainly makes OG’s outbursts look a bit silly. However, I don’t think it mattered how much we spent in the summer or now. Glasner was always off. Fancies himself a ‘big club’ manager. His plan from the first day he walked through the door was to move on at the end of his contract. He was never signing another one
