Glasner Out

Not good.
I looked at a poll of Palace fans with 80% wanting him gone now.
He's about as popular as Starmer.
Kin hell mate he's done us wrong but take it easy , hope i never get on the wrong side of you 🤐

All Sunday, on HOL. Nattering about football bollox. 70 pages so far.

Don't you people have anything better to do ? 😀
I was watching Emery having a quiet melt down in his post match interview. Criticised the board without actually saying it- “There are 5 teams with more chance of winning the league than us” When asked to clarify he was silent but his silence was more powerful than Glasner’s rant.
Is this just injuries and AFCON getting to all the managers ( apart from Arseteta and his huge squad) or are they jockeying for position for The Manc job?

I happen to believe that the long-term problem is one that cannot be solved, due to the mercenary mindset of our American owners. Because they'll make a lot of money when they eventually sell their shares, until that time they'll deliberately invest the minimum needed to avoid relegation.

To them, this is a perfectly reasonable approach. To fans, it beggars belief. "Why buy a football club if you don't care about it?" Answer: because it's a great invesment.

I am contemplating how supporters might express their opinions.
A cacophany of boos when he exits the tunnel ? Anti-Glasner chants ?
I think we will support him until the result/performance doesn't go our way. We owe the players that much to get behind the team

I have been contemplating what reception Glasner will receive when he exits from the tunnel before the start of the game on Sunday.
He has to walk past me to dug out 🤣

I heard on podcast that he was told by his PA to walk over to the palace fans as he was just heading off down tunnel

He has hurt his own reputation now it’s such a pity the milk turning sour quickly for him

If he is staying and it’s not a power move to force him out without any compensation I do wonder what the bench players from yesterday are going to think about all of this.

You’re now playing for a manager for the next several months who thinks you’re crap.
If I were one of them I’d be chomping to get on now. Maybe it’s all a big sting to make them up their game 😁😁😁

It’s hard to up your game if the manager won’t let you on the pitch. It’s definitely not designed to fill the young players with confidence. The other issue with his criticism of the club’s ambition is the negative impact on potential candidates for the job. Hopefully most will see his statement for what it is and be glad to get a crack at the Premier League.

I can see us getting to the Conference Final and fielding the usual team with 3 of them on crutches and a couple in wheelchairs! Maybe Parish should do a Levy and sack Glasner on the eve of the final as a final “f**k you Ollie!

OG has given us more success in the two years he has been at Palace than any other manager.
I hope that the supporters will remember that on Saturday -and show some class !
I’m not there Saturday but I will be there on Sunday. He walks directly pass me, I won’t be booing him but I hope he tries to manage the game, using subs where necessary.

Damaged goods now.
Using that logic Conte, Mourinho etc are damaged goods?
Clearly some managers work better in certain environments more than others. Frank extracted the maximum from a group at Brentford that you wouldn't have said were star names. They worked hard as well which is the part I particularly like.
Maybe working with pre Madonna Spurs players who all think too much of themselves and on huge money isn't for him.
