Glasner Out

What did he say? Unfortunately, I don't have the possibility to watch english TV in Austria and my lack of talent with doing proper online research in combination isn't helpful 😂
Glasner and his players feel abandoned. He has a small squad , and apart from the team on the pitch , he has youth players on the bench.
He wasn't told his Captain was being sold until the last moment. Glasner will see out his contract, because he still feels the players are behind him.
(summat like that, post-match Sunderland)

Thank you. I guess paired with emotions it felt like an outburst? It also depends on HOW to say things. Am I right with ny assuming that it was pretty emotional? Not that emotions likeba toddler whom one took away The Schnitzel, but still...

Pulis said there had been a meeting attended by himself, the chairman and a couple of players when a deal regarding his severance was agreed. Steve was able to prove to the Judges satisfaction that it was impossible as he was having his hair done, a lengthy process and he was not at the club at the time Pulis claimed.

And the judge believed this? A bald guy "getting his hair done"? Lol. Awesome

Glasner says what he felt he had to say safely in the knowledge that he had told Parish 2 months previously that he would be leaving at the end of the season. How is it even sustainable now to keep him on? I've yet to hear him mention his own role in our worsening performance, this is a giveaway.

Selling Guehi and selling Mateta are the correct decisions.

Keeping Glasner on.....seems like the wrong decision to me.....But if Parish and co are strongly in favour of a set manager who isn't available till then I can understand it.....Awkward though.

I'd rather Paddy took over.

You can't slag your bosses off like that while you are taking their coin.

He did a lot of whining but took no personal responsibility.

He isn't at a top five Premiership club and top players will want to leave. He knew that coming in.

For me it comes down to two things:

If Glasner was promised that there would be new signings in order to take Palace "to the next level" and this did not materialise - then he has every right to be pissed.

If Glasner was told that Palace have financial constraints and can spend very little if anything for the good of the club - then he should have shut up.

I don't know what conversations were between him and Steve Parish.

However his level of anger - something I don't think I've ever seen by a Palace manager - leads me to believe it's the former. I could be wrong but the guy is really angry.

Yes, he may have been like this at other clubs but so what? Maybe he doesn't like being lied to. We need to get to the facts of the matter as all we can do now is speculate while Palace have remained silent.

I'm sure he knows FFP / PSR exists. It really is not in doubt that clubs whether they have the funds or not are financially restricted

That Sky Sports link above says:

He was been involved in the signings Palace are making this month and he knows the situation. Palace have signed Brennan Johnson for a record fee and they have to comply with strict PSR rules when buy and selling players.

So he should have shut up

think they have give him a slap and said if you want to go go , he isnt bigger than the club and if we knew who was coming and when then would make more sense , but im confused like most of us he cant be to much to pay up his contract , its thank you and goodbye and I wanted him to stay , but now I want him gone this has played out badly
