Glasner Out

I have just watched his sky interview. What an arrogant t***!
“The players deserve Oliver Glasner” just a snippet!
He also said that he was only told at 10.30am the day before the game that Marc wasn’t available as he was being sold. (I strongly doubt this but we will never know for sure) but that also happens to be the same time he allegedly told the squad that he wasn’t going to sign a new contract.
Macclesfield and today are on him. If he hadn’t won the cups I’m not sure there would be any respect left for the man. He needs to go now before matters get worse.

Man U will do really well with Carrick but still get Glasner for one and a half seasons, before he falls out with with the board.
It’s bleak now but it will all be worth it when Esse scores a 98th minute winner for us at Old Trafford next season to beat OG’s Man Utd by turning Casemiro inside out who OG has inexplicably chosen to play at RWB. Esse then does a full lap of the pitch before sliding on his knees in front of OG and blowing him a kiss.

We don’t need to sack him and pay him off. Just put him in the garden to see out his contract and take his car and laptop off him and tell him not to attend any CPFC premises or contact any CPFC players or staff. He won’t get his win bonuses or trophy bonuses either. Why give him what he wants?!

I'm all for this, the equivalent of letting him rot in the reserves.

He intends to leave immediately but wants to be sacked and be paid rather than just resign. The interview he just gave was a disgrace. Trying to drive a wedge between the club and its players whilst accepting no responsibility at all for anything himself.

I hope Parish is strong with him and offers him the choice of staying, but relieved of team duties and sent to only report on loaned players etc, or leave by mutual agreement.

He has gone from hero to zero in double quick time for me. He knew the limitations of any club our size, because he has been there before. Picking up future stars like Olise, Eze and Guehi gave us some great moments but they were always either going to be sold, or run down their contracts. Expecting us to wave a magic wand and just replace them instantly is totally unrealistic. So is being unable to adapt a style of play when you haven’t got the players to play the way you prefer.

He must be denied any further contact with the players. Paddy needs to step up and both Steve and Mark to sit down with all of them to explain the realities.

Disable his email account as well. Always an important one that

I am certain that Glasner has a ‘bringing the club into disrepute’ clause in his contract which Parish can use to fire him after an interview like that. And, I think that’s what Glasner wants. It’s very similar to Amorim’s outburst that got him dismissed from Man Ure. Enough is enough. Glasner has brought a lot of this on himself. Lack of rotation causing injury/exhaustion, total inability to switch to another formation, lack of confidence in young players. Let’s remember he humiliated Esse by subbing a sub. How would that have made the kid feel. And, of course, because of the rigidity of his system he has no option but to play players out of position. Time to fire him, Steve. Get on with it and have somebody else in charge of training on Monday morning. Paddy Mac and Jedi (if available) perhaps for the rest of the season? The Carrick return seemed to work wonders for Man Ure today.

I think Glasner has been found out unfortunately, mad as that sounds.

Phenomenal what he did with us, absolutely incredible.

What he is now demonstrating however is he needs certain conditions to be able to deliver anything. Outside of that, he’s completely useless.

We definitely need more players, can perhaps moan at the board for that, but quite simply he’s shown that he’s been unable to get results without all his conditions being met. That’s just a fact. We’re on a ridiculously bad run and Glasner doesn’t have any solutions. He’s been found out.

The sensible thing for him to do is blame Mum and Dad (Paish and Co.) for all his failings, to try and secure future employment. That’s what he is doing.

We haven’t been massively unlucky, our performances and results have been dreadful. The manager is to blame for that, regardless of what’s going on elsewhere.

I can’t demand it of course, but I’d love to hear from Parish. His actions will tell us more however. When Glasner tried to rope us in as fans within the interview, I just thought “f**k you Judas, don’t try and manipulate us, you need to leave”. A shocking thought given where we were less than a year ago.

Did we not just spend £35million on Johnson? Hardly abandoning the team.

Guehi, Olise and Eze are the ones who abandoned the team, as Glasner will be very soon. If players stayed with a project rather than chasing the money eleswhere, then we might progress.

Glasner is just trying to deflect from recent poor performances and or maybe trying to get sacked.

I think he’s crazy to be doing this. It will taint his reputation with all future employers and it’s the owners of clubs who hire managers, not the fans.

If you were Sir Jim Ratcliffe would you risk this happening to you?
No. If I were Ratcliffe I’d look at the “Cleaning Lady Out’ thread in here and not realise it’s a joke
