If he takes that job at all he will go down massively in my estimation. I can't see it, as he doesn't tolerate any interference. He won't work with a Director of Football and players he doesn't sanction signing, he won't select.Sorry to say the bookies have him as red hot favourite to replace Amorim. Which will be very soon *glances at watch*
You are right I was merely pointing out the bookies opinion which looking at their cars and houses must be of interest. If he takes that job at all he will go down massively in my estimation. In my opinion Matthew McConaughey has never made a poor film. Big fan. Even bigger fan now. Can't wait to see him turn up at Selhurst.
Doesn't he make that film about the Ironclad ship in the Sahara desert? And how many teams does he support? In my opinion Matthew McConaughey has never made a poor film. Big fan. Even bigger fan now. Can't wait to see him turn up at Selhurst.
Bookies know nothing in situations like this. A few United people have mentioned Glasner. OG has not (yet) signed a new contract at Palace.Sorry to say the bookies have him as red hot favourite to replace Amorim. Which will be very soon *glances at watch*
This! Why should he leave now for ManU now? The cards in his hands are currently getting better and better each day just like magic. He competes in a European competition where chances are good to go far. His family lives now in London with him. And he is surely not the guy who does everything for additional money. Add to that that he has still some years left as a manager to go to a bigger club, so surely not in a hurry to do so now at all expenses. A move to ManU now would be utter madness.Bookies know nothing in situations like this. A few United people have mentioned Glasner. OG has not (yet) signed a new contract at Palace.
They are putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 'maybe'
I've no doubt United would want him but 1. Will United sack Amorim soon? the truth is they dont want to admit they got another massive decision wrong.
2. Would Palace let him go while he is currently under contract to us therefore totally disrupting our season?
3. Would this job be of any interest to Glasner at this moment? Before anyone says 'but its United, massive club, great opportunity, blah, blah' You need to remember Glasner has already turned down Bayern Munich and Liepsig a year ago and only a month ago ruled himself out of the Leverkusen job. Now these (especially Bayern) are massive clubs, very close to his homeland and they are very well run and he turned them down in favour of staying at Palace.
United is a very BADLY run club and I dont believe Glasner would break a contract to join another club. I know he walked out on Frankfurt but that was different. That was said to be over broken promises from the Frankfurt owners. He did not leave to join another club. In fact he went into semi retirement.
Glasner will leave at some point. Everyone does. I dont think theres a cat in Hells chance it will be before the end of this season and even then I cant see it being to United.
My worry is that the bookies very rarely get it wrong.Bookies know nothing in situations like this. A few United people have mentioned Glasner. OG has not (yet) signed a new contract at Palace.

I don't think Seth MacFarlane is a fan...In my opinion Matthew McConaughey has never made a poor film. Big fan. Even bigger fan now. Can't wait to see him turn up at Selhurst.
They get it wrong all the time on new manager bets. If I had a pound for every time we were getting Sean Dyche as our new manager....My worry is that the bookies very rarely get it wrong.
Phew! They get it wrong all the time on new manager bets. If I had a pound for every time we were getting Sean Dyche as our new manager....
It'll be doing the rounds again soon enough. Our new Sporting Director seems clued in - so we can hopefully swerve all the dross. They get it wrong all the time on new manager bets. If I had a pound for every time we were getting Sean Dyche as our new manager....
You optimist you. It'll be doing the rounds again soon enough. Our new Sporting Director seems clued in - so we can hopefully swerve all the dross.
I'd do almost anything to keep Glasner but history says otherwise, unfortunately. And I said almost. You optomist you.
Outside Dazed and Confused, you are surely forgetting the string of awful romcoms he made where - on the cover of the straight-to-bargain-bucket DVD - he is leaning against a wall wearing a dinner suit, bow tie loose and a smug grin.In my opinion Matthew McConaughey has never made a poor film. What do you mean "awful"?Outside Dazed and Confused, you are surely forgetting the string of awful romcoms he made where - on the cover of the straight-to-bargain-bucket DVD - he is leaning against a wall wearing a dinner suit, bow tie loose and a smug grin.
Post Dallas Buyers Club I agree.
Good team to pick though.
Something wrong with his eyes? You optomist you.
I think my missus looks alright. And Dowie was a bit of a heartthrob wasn't he?Something wrong with his eyes?
Have in mind the team went on a terrible run and he went the way of most managers.Bookies know nothing in situations like this. A few United people have mentioned Glasner. OG has not (yet) signed a new contract at Palace.
