We're through, that's all that matters.

The games highlighted that we desperately need to add to the squad. With the departures and injuries we're desperately short and some players looking exhausted already.

Sosa and Kamada were very underwhelming. Munoz seemed more defensive today. Sarr did little. Wharton and Lerma didn't work - Glasner made them stay tight to each other second half. The obvious answer would be lacking the flair of Eze plus the tenacity of Hughes. We certainly need Pino and likely one other if we're not going to play Esse. Presumably, Esse has to start against Millwall.
 
It was messy but job done, we are not the first to make hard work of a qualifier .
Hope we don’t get to many like Fredrikstad, because it’s hard to watch ,us huffing and puffing around ten man defences.

I think we all know it from the early experiments, but Kamada isn't great as a wide 10. Works best with Wharton in the middle.

Lerma isn't particularly cultured, great squad player.

Crossing generally is terrible, so so many overhit.

Let's hope now we are in Europe officially the new signings flow
 
In stunning news, 10 man Besiktas have somehow gone out to Lausanne.

Fiorentina, who had a 3 goal lead from the first leg, are currently losing 2-0 at home to Polissya Zhytomyr.

Yes pity the guys (unless they got lucky) who spent a load of dosh getting and staying over there. They can't even say they went the one and only European trip

But he thought the lads did what was needed - obviously.
Nevertheless you can understand what he says - obviously.

Fiorentina have equalized so they will probably stay favourites for competition. Alkmaar won easily and Anderlecht look likely to go out - but they were up against a strong team in AEK Athens

The game itself, probably the best result we could ask for. Made it through to the next stage but with an utterly dire and boring performance, hopefully enough for Parish & Co. to GET THE CHEQUEBOOK OUT!
