Forest prediction

I'm a bit worried about this one. I'd love a win but a draw would be okay. Watching the game on Thursday there seemed to be hole left with the absence of Ebs. Watching our forward play I kept thinking, if only Eze had been there to pass to, something more might have come of it. Perhaps some of the players were thinking that too.

I would like a win, especially against NF, but I fear this one will be lost as its a quick turnaround since last Thursday and that night without EZE we looked very lost in the final third coupled our usual problem of not being able to convert the majority of the many chances we created. Certainly Eze shoes will not be filled by anyone we currently have at the club and Devenny whilst a great prospect is still work in progress as he was clearly out of depth on Thursday night. Therefore 0-2

Ok, so this is my conspiracy theory…Nuno doesn’t like what the Notts Forest owner has done in relation to Palaces demolition. As a man of principle, he feels that it is difficult for him to work with the guy and he’s uncomfortable hence he has dropped big hints into the conversation. He will probably walk.
But I have been drinking heavily today…
Yes the world and surprisingly a lot of women in the pub look a hell of alot better with beer goggles on 🤓

Agree it will be tough, but... Selhurst will be rocking. We are creating chances and closing down opponents of all quality. Anyone would probably have beaten Brentford last weekend and match stats, particularly shots and possession, show a more even picture than the score suggests. Hopefully Hughesie can do a number on Chris Woods early on, preferably minus the yellow card. Score? Mateta and Sarr are on good form and, one day, one of Lerma or Hughes volleys will find the net - even if via a deflection. Looks like 2-2 but I think the atmosphere will raise our game and so I go for a 3-1.

Palace have an awful record of results against Forest. Don't think we have won any of last ten meets. Much as it would be nice to win tomorrow I think there is very little chance. Anther draw hopefully !

Forest won’t sit back, a much more likely a decent performance, forest in a bit of turmoil also, 2-0 Palace, Richards and JP, Sosa to replace Devenny in Eze role, only for his Corners

Defeat for us by 2 goals.
Speaking to a plethora of supporters, positvity is in short supply.
Alas we are in 'Pitchy seas' and perhaps will soon be taking in water, glug glug, bilge pumps working overtime.

I'm not up for this. I'll talk a good fight and look capable at times, but ultimately capitulate.

Palace 2 Forest 0

7-6 win to Palace.

6 down at HT but an unexpected resignation from Nuno leaves Forest in disarray. Glasner, forced to bring Esse on for tired legs, eventually has to admit he's overlooked a good player after a double hat trick. A final goal from Henderson on the 99th minute, as he saves a penalty with his feet with such ferocity it bobbles up the pitch and into the Forest goal. VAR spends some time tossing coins as to whether a goal counts if it comes from a penalty save, before eventually deciding it doesn't but accidentally send an instruction to the ref that it does.
I’ll take that

On Thursday evening I think the cloud of the departing Ebs was weighing heavily on the team, as it would with any team losing such a well liked & talented player, I expect that the team talk today will focus on CPFC getting over it collectively, moving forward & concentrating on being the best version of ourselves.

I expect us to bounce back 2:1

I’ll settle for that!

Back to Roy ball then but I would take it 😀
