FIFA Club World Cup - Anyone Interested?

I propose the introduction of the World Donkey Cup comprising:

The teams with the worst discipline records in their respective domestic leagues,
The teams with the most expensive striker to have not hit double figures,
Any team where a player has scored 2 or more own goals in the same game,
Charlton.
of Dunk as Captain

it never works this world club thing - just have south american champs v europeans in a one off - even that just feels like the charity shield and doesn't prove anything

Make it the best of three between them. One in South America, one in Asia and one at Selhurst Park.

Correct. FIFA wants to increase it's revenues their first idea was to make the world cup biannual but this was dismissed by UEFA and the major European leagues and clubs.

So this was the compromise solution to raise money and include the top European clubs getting their snouts in the trough.

16 matches in & just a 52% attendance in total bearing in mind the 'daytime' matches only get more in during late 2nd half . . .

I suppose it’s like having the cricket World Cup in Iceland🤣
‘soccer’ is growing in the states, but they’re still just not that interested
