Shakespeare is an English writer and it's the English curriculum and he informs much of the language and its origins. The quality of writer matters.

I will say that you need to look up the post where I stated that his support will view this as a witch hunt and that is precisely what you have suggested elsewhere. Not true. Any political figure who sticks their head above the parapet is fair game. Thus the recent stuff about the leader of the Greens and the near hounding of his connections by the press for anything with juice. It is how the media operate.
And if it were not for the fact that Farage became the face of crypto after he received that payment from someone who makes a living from... er... crypto... you might have a point.

It doesn't matter what they find on Farage.
It doesn't matter what they find on Polanski.
Not unless it's sexual and relates to children.....that's a line at which it breaks, if people think there's something to it. It's why Epstein has been so damaging to Trump, not that many think he's interested in children but that he's perceived as protecting the implicated....which is a fair enough accusation in my book.
But in reality no supporter of Farage or Polanski is going to abandon them because it means they have no one else who can beat their enemies.
That's the basic equation.
Who really gives a feck what Farage does with five million quid or whether Polanski was a con artist before he was a politician.
And, of course, the highest ranking traitor of all was the abdicated Edward VIII, who was actually corresponding with the Nazis as they bombed England and advising them that, if they continued bombing, it was cause an eventual surrender from the UK.
He was punished by being sent to Bahamas.
Lord Haw Haw hanged for high treason, Edward sent to the Bahamas.
