Fan Protest before the Hull Match?

What's wrong with tourists anyway? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Have they never gone to a local game while abroad? I've been to games in Germany, france, portugal and Italy while away.
It drives up ticket prices. Nothing wrong with the tourists, it's the fact the prices are hiked and it maybe prevents someone with a more vested interest rather than someone looking for a background for their Instagram post.

I went to Real Mallorca v Villarreal a couple of years ago while on holiday and I remember it suddenly dawning on me as we got sneered at by some locals sitting near us that we were football tourists and they were probably thinking what we think in this country when we see a row of Asian or American people at games in their half and half scarves 🤣

But you have to pay £50 and be a member plus or whatever to gift your ticket to someone

I thought that this season you can either sell your ticket to the club (as long as someone wants to buy it) or you can request to transfer it to someone you know as long as they are a member or st holder. They changed it.

Only thing i can't do is give it to a non-member.

Unless you have season ticket +.

I don't see the issue anyway just people throwing their toys out of their pram for no reason. Perhaps as someone said earlier it might have a bit of HFs interference.

Get who you are transferring to pay you then. I don’t think it’s 50 for a membership.
It's £50 for season ticket plus, not for membership. It means you pay to give away the ticket you've already paid for. The solution isn't for me to pass the charge on to the person I'm giving the ticket to. I don't want to do that. I simply want to give away something I theoretically already own, namely access to the match. I know I get a crappy acrylic scarf with my 'plus' and discounts in the club shop, but I don't want it. It's part of the reason sectors of the support are getting frustrated. The club won't see any value in me as a supporter. I spend nothing in the shop, I never buy pies, programmes, beer. I simply buy tickets to support my club. My seat could be sold to a different tourist every week for double the money, and those consumers are likely to spend £100 on tat in the club shop too. It's a dilemma. The investors are looking for a return, and there are thousands of ungrateful supporters like me, clogging up the seats, and denying them a decent revenue stream.

If the protest is over having to have at least a £25 membership to receive a transfered ticket or buy one then I find that pathetic.

Is there any other premier league club that don't require you to have a membership to purchase or receive a transfered ticket?

I have had a season ticket for decades. A few of the later games of last season I could not attend due to treatment recovery from a serious ill health problem. Went to the trouble of attempting to sell the tickets back to the club. I received no refunds at all with the club claiming they were not sold on (if so why not). On the last occasion I asked regulars season ticket holders around my seat if anyone had used my seat. The reply was yes. So how did this happen. Complained to the box office who still said my seat was not re-sold.....Just don't believe them as found out my seat was occupied on all occasions well before kick off (hence not just slipping in anywhere vacant a few minutes after KO which does understandably happen from time to time).
Also to be clear, do not agree and not joining any pathetic waste of time protest (life unfortunately for me just now too short for any of this nonsense).....just saying!
