Yes, exactly. Unless the vans were empty and there was no explosive - real or fake. Someone went to some lengths to organise this though - the vans had fake company logos on them. I suspect the 5 were just dumb idiots, used as puppets. All 5 are UK citizens supposedly.

I think you are right. I do wonder if this group had been infiltrated and, at least one of those arrested was in fact undercover. That may explain the bail, couldn’t let one out and not the others.
