The Cup Final calls for things to be taken up a level both in and outside Wembley.

So on this historic occasion for the club, we encourage all Palace fans to meet at Trafalgar Square to get the atmosphere going well before kickoff.

Please use the bins provided & leave no trace.

UP THE PALACE!

When I heard the announcement I wondered if it was a good idea. Most Saturday's someone's demonstrating about something at Trafalgar Square so I hope this was a genuine mistake and not somebody mischief making.

FYI
I'm reading a History of Britain and a throw away comment was that 3 months after Trafalgar square was opened there was a massive anti government protest there. So from the start people have always used it to demonstrate.

Going to Trafalgar Square for the meet up is not recommended by both the club and the Met due to the Palestinian March taking place.
Covent Garden has been offered again as an alternative venue.
This would be much safer for all concerned, especially those with children.
FAB and CPISA, both recommend that supporters change their plans and now congregate in Covent Garden prior to kick off.

Why would a Palestinian March not be safe? Especially for children?
