FA Cup Final Display

I’ve seen the HF have put up a new fundraiser for the display at the final, which originally started at a £12,000 target. It’s now £30,000. Is this a default gofundme thing or does this mean a bigger, better display or just funding into the HF for future displays at SE25?
Any thoughts would be appreciated

I just pocket the difference and go on the piss.

It's ok for them as they've already got Thier tickets allocated for them by their buddy Parish
We have to go through that fiasco again to try to get tickets even if your a season ticket holder with 10,000 plus points it doesn't guarantee a seat
So they can go do one !!.
Alse worrying, tickets already for sale on ticket site even before we've had a go

Providing you log in on time, a ST holder with 10,000+ points will guarantee you a seat.

The HF are also all ST holders and probably also all have over 10,000+ points. They will all be allocated 1 ticket each as well on merit.

These are a bunch of guys who put hours of non paid work in behind the scenes to help create something special for us all to enjoy - not just at Wembley, but regularly at Selhurst Park too. The idea of a centralised 'singing section' works well at Wembley to help spread the noise as we saw on Saturday. With no organisation, we'll end up like Villa did - just read how unhappy they were with their Wembley set up on their fan forums.

They do far more than the average Palace fan to support the team - in terms of dedicating time and effort - so deserve some help from Parish (in my opinion). I've donated and look forward to another fantastic display.

Great to see that both Dean Henderson and Chris Richards have each contributed £500. Shows they care too.

The HF annoyed me earlier on this season with their political messages. However I do admit they have done a lot for the club and they really did put on a good show at the semi final.

I do not bedgrudge them getting seats first either. I'll be donating towards this one.

Agreed. They need to leave their political beliefs out of it and stick to what they do best - supporting Palace.

For me, the good outweighs the bad.

I totally agree! I’ve been supporting Palace for 50 years and I have to say that the connection between everyone at the club is driving the success and a lot of credit has to go to the atmosphere at games driven by the HF. There have been times I have felt down when we are behind and they just keep going. The gofund me is now at £30k so imagine how good it will look to the world watching the final and that takes a lot of organising!!!!

I hadn’t appreciated until I watched the semi final back on TV how many flags the Villa fans had. Within the stadium you could see them waving something around, but there’s no contrast - so it didn’t stand out or have any impact. It was similar with the Forrest (and the few City fans) the next day. The vibrant red and blue (and size) of our flags makes such a difference.

Yep, I also saw nothing from them in the stadium. TBF though I couldn't see blue flags, didn't even know the game had started at one point!

The whole 'tifo' thing seems to have exploded recently.

It would be quite nice to have a giant eagle this time instead of virtue signalling again.

The HF give Palace games a bit of atmosphere, but let's be honest. They are a bit woke, bless them.

Looked at the website, the original FA price tickets CPFC box office have for £150, being sold by that website for over £1000. I will take my chances with CPFC box office as I did for the semi-final 🙂
