The boy needs to come home. He will still be loved. Seen what the other side is about and not pleasant for him. Take him on a free 🤣

That would be like Susan George wanting a tumble on the day you won the lottery. The boy needs to come home. He will still be loved. Seen what the other side is about and not pleasant for him. Take him on a free 🤣

Unfortunately with these stories the substance usually rhymes with Grit.
A loan too by next season for 40m, half the expected Wharton money, come Summer. The boy needs to come home. He will still be loved. Seen what the other side is about and not pleasant for him. Take him on a free 🤣
Areta has shaken all the confidence out of him. Plays now like he's just scared of making a mistake.
He's been told his style was "too ornamental". A waste of talent.

Really Teddy? I always thought apart from the odd flash of brilliance and a good goal every now and then, including our most famous goal ever, he spent far too long drifting out of games and was slightly over rated. But I know that’s how flair players work, you forget the rest of game where they did nothing if they score a brilliant goal or create one for someone elseI don't care whose bench he's on - it's their loss. He is my favourite Palace player for decades. Those old enough to remember them still talk about Rogers and Byrne and Eze will be the same in years to come. Even without his cup final goal he'd be one of our great players. With it he's a legend.

At least spuds didn’t get him though 🤦I don't see him lasting at Arsenal with Arteta in charge. They're a physical side and don't seem particularly bothered with style over results. Eze is a technical, flair player. We saw ourselves enough that it's rare for him to track back or get stuck in. The opposite of Arsenal's tactics.

Not a patch on Olise for me, Olise was always involved in games from start to finish, always looking to make something happen and it quite often did
Eze, memorable moments and a great lad, but no-where near the best we’ve had imo
I think you would struggle not to find both of them in a BOAT team, no not a dingy, i think it is safe to say that nobody of the current team would, Mitchell maybe back up for Kenny.Sure but that's what I like in football; the moments that live in the memory.
Please don't think I would say anything against Olise who was also a wonderful player for us. We were lucky to have them both, that they played together was a huge bonus.

This is true, and Eze could’ve left us with a couple more special moments away at Chelsea and Brentford if it wasn’t for inept refereeingSure but that's what I like in football; the moments that live in the memory.

Pino feels more effective that Eze was in his first 1/2 seasons? This is true, and Eze could’ve left us with a couple more special moments away at Chelsea and Brentford if it wasn’t for inept refereeing
And after all what I’ve said, having watched Pino floundering and Johnson giving us absolutely sod all, I’d have Eze back in a heart beat 🤣

He was stuck out on the left for most of the game with obvious instruction to come inside and make space for Lewis Hall to boss the flank . It worked quite well but didn't give Eze much room to work his stuff . He did better when Bellingham went off and he moved central .I was watching the England game last night when Eze got a start. Although there were some lovely touches from him, it didn't seem as if he quite knew what his role was supposed to be, or, if he did know, it didn't suit him. Either way he was pretty ineffective.
