Eze

Maybe Arsenal now feel he is a luxury they didn’t need as much as they thought.
If Eze, doesn’t play, and he isn’t right now, then his international career will be at risk. If that happens then he is bound to have regrets.

Regrets, he’s had a few, and then……

He made the faulty error of not going abroad, Spain, France etc, would have been success, slower play, easier games, but no, he went for the 30 pieces of Silver, must have missed that weeks Bible study
He’s getting well paid to watch his boyhood club ! That’s the sort of gig I’d like, so if Parish wants me, i’m available 😂

It is highly likely he will get a lot more game time this season.
Hopefully for him and us English, he will play in a position where Tuchel sees his unrivalled skills.
Whatever way, I will be very surprised if Tuchel does not take him to USA. He is a world top talent.
Based on his history, he tends to disappear only in the colder months.

I suspect he thought that with Arsenal's squad he might have to spend some time warming the bench.
I very much doubt that he has any regrets leaving us for a top team, playing in a modern 60,000 stadium and a club he supported as a boy.

...and banking considerably more. Doubt he would have gone if his salary had been halved!

I saw about 20 minutes of the game and he was completely inconspicuous. He might not be pining for Palace but he must be missing the freedom he had.

He was awful.

No effort, zero application, showing for nothing and literally a passenger for the entire half.

He was never as good as some made out. There are loads of kids who look decent on the playground or in the cage and who develop some tight skills, but the game is so much more than that. Then again, they're earning 100k a week for lightly trotting around, are they that bothered? I once knew a career advisor who mentioned that a lot of kids came in and said they wanted to be footballers despite not playing for the school team or a weekend club. I wonder why?
