Everton Predictions.

I share the pessimism of previous posters about the result generally and corners given against us in particular.

Sometihing I don't predict but I think might help would be to priortise keeping a clean sheet - but not to the extent of starting Mateta, useful though he can be defending set pieces. I want to see Sarr start because he's consistently looked the sharpest of our attacking players and I'd choose JPM to stand back because I think he's the sort of centre forward Tarkowski & co understand - whereas Nketiah's the type they hate. Towards the end of the game when their knees are raging, JPM might get more chances - particularly if Sarr's still on the pitch to provide key assists.

We haven't won at Goodison for 10 years, even if Everton has been shitty for years, so why on earth should the current Palace team win?

We will loose, but still stay free of the relegation zone!

Well, until Ipswich and Southampton have played Sunday-Monday.

And then I expect a regular thrashing by Liverpool next Saturday; it might well look pretty ugly going into the next international break...

As my old nan used to say, its easy to be an expert when you guess right.
Facts are we completely outplayed Everton first half and should have been 2 or even 3 0 up. It was our inability to kill them off that lost us the game. Nothing to do with Everton being better than us. They weren't.
Fact is the scored with their first shot of the game though I'd agree it was a beauty. Then they got another with only their second shot of the game and then hung on for the remainder of the game. During that period of doged defending from them we STILL probably could on another day have equalised and that would have been the very least we deserved. Shame but I look forward to the reverse fixture. We are a better team than Everton. They got lucky Saturday.

Palace robbed by this inexplicable, poor decision:
