Starmer is on the ropes over this stuff. Now I appreciate the man as skid-mark qualities in terms of hanging on but this now seems to be developing by the hour. Looks like his own party are turning on him because the fall out from this crisis is clearly only going to get worse and worse. Because, and I am tedious beyond belief so apologies, the appointment of Mandleson, given he was a KNOWN confidant of a man like Epstein, a convicted nonce, and on the back of all the other s***, which I won't bore you about because you all know, was simply unbelievable then and now...in the realms of the almost surreal. Just beyond any and every rational comprehension of how this is all meant to work.
I genuinely do not think it's possible to understate how much of a crisis for Labour, and Starmer in particular, this is. And before people want to take this down the usual Left-Right BS, yes, I am in no doubt that plenty of figures on the Right are covered in s*** as well but none of them made a man like Mandelson the Ambassador to the US. A decision so poor that it must undermine any and everything Starmer ever does.
