Trouble is Wharton could be off, especially now if possibly playing for the likes of us has been part of why he’s not in the squad, I have no doubt if he was at one of the big boys he would’ve been guaranteed a place on the plane

Wharton is under contract. The England midfield is over stocked with good players with Foden, Palmer and Gibbs White all missing out as well, 2 of which are playing for big boys.
Stones who is always injured, going instead of Maguire is another odd selection.

Jordan Henderson must be under contract to the England team.
 
as much as I love Wharton, I don't think he showed his best for England, too many misplaced passes and risky slide tackles when trying to recover possession - he's a red card waiting to happen. Some of his passing is down to understanding with the rest of the players however in the reality of a tournament, that's squandering possession which will get punished. He'll be a star in the next Euros when he's honed his craft a bit more and added goals to his repertoire.

People saying Palmer has had not a good season really 25 games he has scored 9 goals he did have injuries this season and Chelsea as a team plus multi managers haven't helped. (He is being judged by that great season he had before which for a guy that plays in his position etc was fantastic but not realistic to think he would do that again)

People are right. 5 of those 9 goals were penalties and he is on by far the longest drought of his career in providing assists

Doesn’t mean he won’t leave, although as we know SP will make sure it’s an offer we can’t refuse.
And you’re right, I think everyone’s baffled by that one, among others

Tuchel is a clown for not taking the player who leads Europe by a mile in stats such as line breaking passes. He wants Jordan "Square Ball" Henderson who doesn't get picked for Brentford.
