El Hadji Diouf

That is what I understood, but the inaccuracy of what is out there in what is supposed to be confidential discussions is the context.

On which, Transfermarkt only has a sale to Liverpool as the sole rumour and (get this) assesses the chance of transfer at 23%.

What variables does it apply to arrive at such an accurate prediction? I would confidently state that this figure can only be accurate to a chance of 62%, even with a +-10% margin.
They just guess. I wouldn't take any notice of that site. I believe they have Nketiah at a higher value than Mateta, for example

So we think he is overpriced and will not pay that much…. but might rethink because somebody else may ! That makes perfect sense 🤣
I surprised they didn't add West Ham, Everton Southampton and Charlton as well. Typical PR from selling club. Brighton may even go alone with the click bait just to raise the price a bit, like bidding at an auction where you hope you can duck out leaving the real bidder with an inflated price.

As others have said, I doubt Dougie and Co. would up the anti solely because the Tesco bag wearing shisters from Bumton are rumoured to be interested.
In fact i'm beginning to wonder if there's any interest at all from us. The 3mil difference is pocket money nowadays and if we thought Diouf had any future in the Prem then surely we'd have paid it by now.
Then again I'm sat here looking at me big toe poking out my sock, £2.50 in my pocket and a Pot Noodle on the go so what do I know!!

Could be like when people borrow six figure sums to buy a house, pay an extra £50k to gazump someone and then refuse to pay £20 to buy the curtain rail. Luckily I think the club has more financial nouse than that

I personally think it’s agents naming our rivals to he the deal.

Although he doesn’t seem to get everything right he definitely seems to get more right than wrong with us.

Did see another saying Brighton will offer £20m which for us is a lot of money. But no name to with it as a source
