I know it’s not my money, but when you get lazy players and/or with a bad attitude, it really does grate that these Charlatans are millionaires

Exactly, I doubt fans of many other clubs would be as forgiving as Palace.

I've been annoyed with players and swore but I've never wanted rid of a player so much. He's the laziest we've ever had.
Maybe the reports aren't true but I was literally outraged when I heard he turned down a move away.

To be fair I can’t really blame the player. If you were being paid £95k a week to sit around, not even having to work, would you want to move to a new employer? Doesn’t make it any less infuriating but the error here was the club’s in paying £95k a week to Edouard to start with.

I can see the point but turning down a transfer to not play just shows what a lazy guy he is.
Does he even train? Who knows.

It was perhaps a mistake to renew but in a way it worked as there has been interest. Édouard seems to be doing his best to put off any interest.

Maybe I'm overreacting but I'd love Dougie to just say that he'll be with the kids or even alone if he ever comes back here.

If he wants to turn down offers then we can play cute too. Tell him we'll release rumours about how lazy he is unless he moves. Career over.

Yes I agree with you it is infuriating and it shows laziness. Sadly the club doesn’t have a lot of leverage if he just wants to run down his contract. At £95k a week even if that is that for his career at a high level he’s still set for life. Not sure we need to threaten rumours of him being lazy. Seems that is well known already.

Do we know for sure he got £90k /week on his new one year contract?
