Olise is now valued at £150 million less than two years after leaving Palace. At least we have a sell on clause. Hope he does move to Real Madrid and that way we get an extra £20 million to add to our transfer budget. Looks like we made a complete mess of paying £35 million for Brennan Johnson, just hope we make two or three shrewd additions to the squad, we will need it for the upcoming season.

It will only look a complete mess if he doesn't start playing to his 24/25 season
 
Of course, and as I have said before, I really hope he does. I saw a worrying statistic that he was by far the worst player in the premiership for accurate passes and forward passes completed. Also I don’t think I have seen him dribble past a defender yet.

He's not a dribbler his mum told me 🤤,
But its his speed which he has only shown once I think , when attacking ,
When defending he has shown his pace
 
Yes, all our best players came for less than £20 million. Benteke was a costly mistake. Johnson and Strand Larsson deserve another season before going into that basket. Mateta cost us £8 million and took two years to break through and still wasted 20 big chances to score last season. Luckily he couldn’t miss the rebound in Leipzig, what a run and shot by Wharton carrying the ball the 40 yards as they kept backing off.

Both N.I And the Republic have been a football joke for 100 years. Should really be like the Rugby team & cobble one team for the whole island.
Devenny will be passing the ball to a Liam Neeson type septegenarian.

Barça did it under Tito Villanova much more recently. When you have a set-up like La Masia to pick from it does help a touch.

Not quite the same level but I do believe Copers' Cope has a better track record than a lot of EPL sides.

Recouped a good chunk of Brennan's fee for not doing anything, at least. If he makes further moves in the future will we get a slice of those too?
 
Yeremy Pino came on at HT for Spain in their 3-1 win against Peru yesterday when Spain were already 2-0 up and Ismail Sarr came on on the 62nd minute mark for Senegal against Saudi Arabia early today. It ended 0-0.

Palace website reports that the third Spanish goal could have been awarded to Pino but gave it as an own goal to the Peruvian keeper instead.

Last England warm-up game tonight vs Costa Rica in Miami.

Originally due to kick off at 9pm uk time, it is running an hour late due to earlier wet weather conditions.

Without lineups yet, Deano will be on the bench 99.999%. Personally I believe he should be starting. Shame that the rest of our contingent are not there, as well. Good luck to all involved.

Didn't even need to play a keeper tonight - but think odd that Deano hasn't had more minutes just in case Pickford has a problem

And he could - the only Costa Rica chance was from Pickford having 'a moment'

Deano has had more game time than Pickford with us , so he will be ready if needed , hope he does get a game but if we are winning games with Pickford not making errors , he won't play😔
 
Deschamps seems to have realised Max is a better centre back than Konaté. Hopefully he realises playing regularly at Palace is his best option at the moment and enough to get him into the national team. If France go all the way he might get a game in the final. Saliba is carrying a back injury.
