Eagle Football Group / Textor in Administration

Well he’s only the chairman. So fancy journalists assuming he had anything to do with them going into administration……
My understanding is that Textor put this consortium together and persuaded the others to invest in his plan. When ever he spoke it was always "me me me" as though he was the sole decision maker.

If it's other people's fault then he only has himself to blame for not making that clear that he was just a mouth piece.

More of a ring piece.
After the dramas of our European venture it now looks like a bargain price to get rid of him. Ignoring the fact that we'd have almost certainly got gubbed out of the "higher" competition.
Win/Win?

The bigger boys who had invested with him had already appointed their own over Textor to protect their investments. I think it was Kang that was placed over his company.

As I understand it Michelle Kang bought the OL Ladies team to protect it from the main club’s problems. Part of the French FA’s conditions to allow OL men’s team to continue trading Textor handed over control to MK and she became President of the Club and Chief Executive of Eagle Football Holdings. She is a minority shareholder in EFH but with the largest individual stake. OL men’s team is currently about €400k in debt and it is unlikely MK will bail out the men’s team as her main aim is promoting women’s sports.

I've just had a horrible feeling that Eagle Holdings might own part of the academy. I presume Johnson bought Textor out completely. I hope anyway.
According to AI we’re OK:

The Crystal Palace Academy, which achieved Category One status following a £20m redevelopment completed in 2021, is owned and operated by
Crystal Palace Football Club. The club ownership group, which oversees the academy, includes Woody Johnson (reported 43%), Josh Harris, David Blitzer, and Chairman Steve Parish.
