I thought he was decent b4 the WC, but considering some of his performances over the last few weeks, if he was going anywhere, I would have thought he would have options

I'm surprised if they want to sell him. I thought he was very poor before the world cup but he's proved that his selection was an excellent decision. He's young so should also improve. They should stick with him and give him a good chance.

Surprised by some of the comments here. My Spurs-supporting mate has always said he was good, and he has been outstanding at the World Cup. I would love him to come to Palace, but will be staggered if any move is not a major step-up for him, and whatever we may think of Spurs, that will not be to us. To watch the World Cup and say he has nothing to offer other than pace...well I don't know what you were watching.
