'the other Pistols'......not much talent there. The main talent of Lydon was his irrepressible gobby gob. The tv interviews were better than the musical performances on stage.

I feel like it's touch and go whether Ozzy Osbourne makes it to the final Black Sabbath show. He's already immobile and has said he'll only do a couple of songs from the comfort of a 'throne' (not the toilet, they're making him a throne). He's not in a good way.

Yeah but as we know musical ability wasn't the point.

Originally Punk was just anti establishment to its core and thus a rejection of standards.....unless they were in the studio and wanted to flog something.

Some of the Pistols songs are mainstream classics now......Every genre has quality within it if you look hard enough, but I must admit it wasn't my thing.

Of course in the modern day Lydon is kind of based.

Yep, someone who can write multiple standards like that only comes around maybe once a generation.....but in the sixties we had several.
