I think he was having a moment. There's loads of us from 1990 very much still around.why you say no one from the 1990 final?

I was at the replay in 1990 and the ZDS final where Everton were spanked (eventually)!!There was an FA cup final in 1990 but perhaps the replay is best forgotten.
Surely this has to be improved for the final, doesn't it? As an ST holder, I think it should be done differently from the semi...
There are one of two options to reward the loyalist fans. Now, we all support the team in different ways, but when it comes to ticket allocation, most games attended should be the only thing that matters.
So either:
A) a points based system. Needs good judgement for the cut-offs, but it can't be that hard...
B) Phase 2 should be ST holders ONLY.
With all due respect to Gold members, anyone can chuck £60 at it right now to get in at the same time as someone who's been there every week, and there is no way that is fair. The cynical part of me suggests it could be a cash-grab by the club to get ST holders to stump up another £45 to be ST+ and be in Phase 1 as well as bumping the Gold Membership, but I hope I'm wrong.
And if you're a Gold member who's there most weeks, well that's why the points system was my first pick.
What does everyone think?
Again!! 🤣I think he was having a moment. ,There's loads of us from 1990 very much still around.
The FA need act in some way, the final is televised around the globe and it doesn’t look good with one end of the stadium 75% full. I know segregation is a problem but there must be some way around the problem.I do agree with this though, shocking how many empty seats there were on Sunday…! Place looked half empty on TV, entire blocks unoccupied.
Also disappointed with number of premium seats that were empty on Saturday though and surprised more effort wasn’t put into flogging them.

Think you've mixed up the two 'Manchester' clubs.I mean there have to be at least 45k Man City supporters in London... allegedly around 900k supporters in the UK...! I think penalising clubs in some fashion for not filling their end.
How about - beer tab for the opposition for every empty seat![]()
I was at the 1991 Zenith Cup final. I went with my dad and sat/stood near the front level with the corner flag. They still had the fencing up even though it was two years after Hillsborough. Annoyed me as it obstructed my view of Geoff Thomas breaking Martin Keown's nose.I think he was having a moment. There's loads of us from 1990 very much still around.
My dad’s mate has been to approx 3 games since 1997 but went to the ‘90 cup final. I think they’ll be more than a few loyal fans slightly miffed if he qualified for a ticket ahead of them.On the subject of ticket staging and rewarding loyalty, although a bit left field how about those fans who attended the 1990 and 2016 finals to be given some kind of priority too?
Exactly how I feel about it. I am a gold member from the Netherlands and go to Palace games on average 3 times a season (so not that much loyalty points). Unfortunately, I couldn't attend during the semi-final, but I can attend the final.
I would find it completely fair if gold members who did go to the semi-final get priority, but the reason I got a gold membership at the start of the season is precisely because it gives me priority in terms of buying tickets. It should just be that members who bought a membership after the semi-final should be excluded.
