Crystal Palace vs. Tottenham match thread

Pino is a big disappointment, lightweight and seemingly not on the other's wavelength.

Can't complain about the effort but if we can't take our chances we will sink down the table.

Mateta needs a rest, all arms and legs and constantly being out- muscled - but what options do we have?
Nketiah if he gets into spaces, Ushe is not a No.9 but could be the answer.

Interesting to see if Glasner makes a change, probably not until we go 2 down

Calm down everyone, we’re playing well. Dominating a spurs team. How expectations have changed!

We just need to put it in the net…Uche will come on and do it.

We should theoretically be able to get back into this without too much struggle.

Perhaps I’ve read too many of Willo’s posts down the years but I cannot, for the life of me, see us getting a single goal let alone more.

We really need our midfield to come up with some goals while our forwards aren’t scoring. Why is it other teams score goals from midfield but we can’t seem to? Wharton & Hughes shooting is powder puff. This is a poor Spurs side which we shouldn’t lose too!!

On this Nick, I agree. We seem to panic, tackles are woefully inadequate & to have both our midfielders have a pop on goal, well!

It's the system as well as the players. When I think of some midfielders we've had previously who popped up with a goal compared to now I can conclude that Glasner's well has run dry and he should think about a tactical rejig. Jedi, Mili, Jimmy Mac, Puncheon, Cabaye, players who knew where the net was, and found themselves in positions to exploit. It doesn't happen so often with this current set-up. So yeah, it's Glasner.
