Crystal Palace vs. Tottenham match thread

You get excited during an attack because we are in great positions and cutting teams open with plenty of options but you don’t know who you want the ball to fall to. I have no faith in any of their finishing.

It's the system as well as the players. When I think of some midfielders we've had previously who popped up with a goal compared to now I can conclude that Glasner's well has run dry and he should think about a tactical rejig. Jedi, Mili, Jimmy Mac, Puncheon, Cabaye, players who knew where the net was, and found themselves in positions to exploit. It doesn't happen so often with this current set-up. So yeah, it's Glasner.
We only play 2 midfielders so you can’t expect loads of goals from that area. Where we are falling massively short is our 3 strikers. Pino hasn’t replaced Eze and Sarr is sorely missed. Add both a poor Nketiah and Mateta’s lean spell and it’s little wonder we can’t score.

This is why Glasner needs to be more adaptable, but he's not. Keeps doing the same thing with the same end result.

If I was Esse, I would ask to go out on loan or a move. How is that kid not worth a go when we have f*** all attacking flair. What is Ollie seeing in Training to not use him?
