I assumed we had more than one dating back to the Hodgson Hamstring Pandemic. Our doctor's done a runner though hasn't he? No way will we sign a new one until January.
Did I imagine it or was a Fredrikstad player booked for time wasting at 1-0 down as well? Slightly different circumstances but have refs clamped down on it regardless of the score?Selz getting booked for time wasting was classic comedy gold.

Southgate was perfect for England as a PR face at rhe tip of a bloody big coaching spear but is no club managerGod no.....no one deserves suffering like that.
Southgate especially.....I couldn't take it.
I'd have to forget about Palace until he left.
Once Kamada is back (probably this Thursday) Devenny can revert to his midfield position as an option off the bench. It's not rose tinted to say Eze would have made more of the 4 great positions that Devenny had in the first half.
Not a criticism of the diligent and committed Devenny , but Arsenal will not be spending £60 + million on him.
Our squad is not strong enough and if Devenny has to continue in that left sided attackng role after the window the board will have failed.
I know Eze has gone, but it's not rose tinted to observe that Eze (or proper replacement) may well have made a difference today.
I think Taylor on reflection may have thought he'd been a bit harsh and so booked Mitchell to even things up.Selz getting booked for time wasting was classic comedy gold.
It’s not rose tinted to say Eze MAY have made a difference. It is to say he WOULD have. It's not rose tinted to say Eze would have made more of the 4 great positions that Devenny had in the first half.

That's fair comment. It’s not rose tinted to say Eze MAY have made a difference. It is to say he WOULD have.

Glasner will be replaced by a like achiever from the continent. Somebody lifting trees from eg Young Boys or whoever is achieving way beyond expectations.
Yep I agree - if there’s one thing we leant today Devenny is not a 10..!!That's fair comment.
But it's perhaps reasonable to suggest that a specialist left sided attacker MAY have made more an impact in the role than a young inexperienced midfielder who's like a fish out of water when pressed into action in this advanced role.
It's more an observation of the paucity of the options in the squad .
Glasner seemed confident that this position will be addressed in the widow in his post match conference.
Kamada was awful in that position at the start of last season... the only reason his form picked up was because he reverted back to his usual position as one of the holding midfielders. Hes definitely an upgrade on Devenny but not really chuffed about it to be totally honest so hopefully we do sign someone for that positionOnce Kamada is back (probably this Thursday) Devenny can revert to his midfield position as an option off the bench.
We will get a player for the 10 position - OG was very confident of that in the post-match presser.
We were 12th after the first round (albeit on alphabetical tie-break). The season's target probably should be to finish there and win the Conference. Of, course that could already be dashed by FridayPhew! Just the result we needed, I'm not quite sure I'd know what to do if we weren't somewhere between 14th and 12th place.
