But you agree about Sarr and Johnson?Disagree mate.
You can't compare the 2....
Mateta had Sarr, Wharton and Kamada behind him.
Larsen had Pino, Hughes and Johnson.
You can't make a direct comparison. Larsen got zero service all game and let's not overhype Mateta.... he got gifted an open goal and then a penalty.
Resets after the quartersi think Wharton is on a yellow, as our all 3 CBs, so there is some logic putting him on the bench on Thursday to avoid a semi ban.
Can't see it happening based on Sunday's line up.
Lacriox needs to be careful too as he'd be a massive miss

Is the right answer 😀Resets after the quarters

The three points banished the most paranoid thoughts of relegation it's true and leapfrogging Newcastle in the table could be worth £1.1 in merit payment if it stays like that to the end of the season. Getting to the Conference league semis would be worth roughly twice that and progressing further more again. If we were to win the competition, as we realistically quite well could, a place in the Europa League - which is very unlikely to be achieved by league placing - would mean yet more spondulicks and help player recruitment - maybe even manager recruitment. I can't really see how the three points - besides not being at stake as it turned out - were so obviously ore important to the club.Just cannot understanding the starting selection today, clearly and thank goodness the subs changed the game and big thank you to them for securing all three points. The selections bugs me, as the three points today were more important to the club and yet it seems OG preference is for the European games to boost his own cv?
As it stands if we finish 9th conference lge if villa win europa lge and finish 5th , we win conference we know that we're in europa and 10th spot is conference , I thinkThe three points banished the most paranoid thoughts of relegation it's true and leapfrogging Newcastle in the table could be worth £1.1 in merit payment if it stays like that to the end of the season. Yes , you (and me) are correct - whilst yellows reset existing suspensions don't.Yes, but the suspensions don't - so if any of Wharton, Canvot, Lacroix or Richards get booked tomorrow, they would miss the first semi final leg.
Any existing yellow card counts are not carried into the semi finals, but yellow card suspensions do carry.

two substitutions, one penaltyWhere did the ref get those extra minutes in stoppage time from?
5 minutes on the board we were still playing after 10, didn't do my nerves any good.
Eddie Howe took it surprisingly well, given away by a shirt-tug in front of the ref that's really bad in the 90+3rd minute.
😎
Definitely agree about Johnson. But you agree about Sarr and Johnson?
It was the difference between Mateta's hold-up play and Larsen's which caught my attention most, which obviously didn't depend on service. But granted Larsen has been getting his goals fractionally quicker than Mateta - but without carrying an injury.
