Unfortunately as he’s not playing as a defender in this match he’s not allowed to score. The further forward you go on this team the worse the finishing
Really impressed with the new kid. I’ve watched a bit of Fulham this season and this sums them up. In front but against the play. We are in this game despite the depleted team.
I don’t think it’s been against the run of play. They’ve had more possession, more chances, more corners, more shots. Not really surprising given the lineup we are having to play but they’ve definitely been the better team. We’ve done well to still be in it
It’s not really a surprise given the injuries. The real issue is how paper thin our squad is going into this season. It is one of the worst squads (not necessarily first eleven) in the Premier league and it shows. The table doesn’t lie unfortunately
Lacroix played well until that poor mistake, Devenny looked good, Kamada is awful, closely followed by Sarr, Smith-Rowe best player on the pitch, Andersen looked poor, the spirit looked good, second half now, who knows, might as well give Agbinone and then Marsh a go
Two minutes after our former defender makes a goal line clearance to keep us out, the midfielder we were linked with scores to put us behind. I suppose inevitable.
Really we're paying the price for a lack of investment aren't we. We were one of the few clubs in the summer to make a profit and our squad is small because of it.
We definitely should have signed another left back and another attacker. We didn't know at the time that Wharton was injured but considering that revelation and Doucoure's fragility, we should have bought another midfielder too.
Posts regarding squad strength etc etc are redolent of something. Now what is it? Ah yes, for example, we still have Schlupp on the books, brought in by Big Sam years ago when he realised we had a thin squad.
Nothing much has changed, it's the same talking point every season.
