So if the content of the banner is accurate then there is nothing wrong with it. Maybe the FA will have to await the outcome of the Greek hearing just started.'The Football Association has charged Crystal Palace with misconduct after supporters held a banner depicting Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis holding a gun to midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White's head.
The banner, unfurled during the 1-1 Premier League draw at Selhurst Park in August, read: "Mr Marinakis is not involved in blackmail, match-fixing, drug trafficking or corruption."
Marinakis has consistently denied any wrongdoing in relation to such allegations'
Crystal Palace charged by FA after fans' Evangelos Marinakis gun banner
'While the banner was not specified as the reason for the charge, there are strict rules regarding messaging containing defamatory, political and offensive slogans'.
What a daft gesture to present in the first place and why didn't ground staff intervene and remove?
The banner said he WASN'T involved in corruption...so if he does get found guilty then the banner is inaccurate. So if the content of the banner is accurate then there is nothing wrong with it. Maybe the FA will have to await the outcome of the Greek hearing just started.

They are hardly exemplary bastions of society or 'the beautiful game' yet few push the Sports Minister to do anything to address governance of the sport hence why we are where we are here. My reservation is that such a gesture in the first place is always going to hit Palace given the easy means of getting back to The FA e.g,. cameras, social media etc. Heavy fine is frustratingly inevitable.FA just proving to us all once again what bellends they are

So if the wording is factually correct on the banner, is it the gun that is the ‘problem’, which is ironic seeing as the holder of the gun is the subject of a court case of encouraging violence and connected to organised crime in Greece. They are hardly exemplary bastions of society or 'the beautiful game' yet few push the Sports Minister to do anything to address governance of the sport hence why we are where we are here.
