Kamada has played well recently and is more the pre-assist player. Moves the ball quicker than Lerma or Hughes. Awful assists stats I agree but you need someone to keep the ball moving - as per the cup final goal.
He'll be gone soon and people can find someone else to dig out every match. Even when he's benched he's still "Teacher's Pet".
My point was the starting line up does nothing for JSL. Sarr would at least be a foil, take defenders away. They'll probably leave Johnson unmarked based on his recent outings.
Also agree Wharton is a big miss but try to be less condescending- there's a good chap.

I collect stats with up to 2 assists per goal . Kamada has 5 in the season so far (same as last year) . Wharton leads with 9 and Lerma, surprisingly, is next with 7 helped by his long throws. Mateta and Larsen don't have one between them

Same as the other game recently where Hughes and Lerma started, highly predictable lack of creativity and control which makes some players look bad for lack of service.

If people are expecting Larsen to outmuscle defenders and battle for headers they are likely to be disappointed, but at least he should be able to challenge them and stop giving them free headers.
I just hope that a new manager can get a trick out of both him and Johnson.

The defence still looks very shaky with high balls coming in, Richards passing at times is awful coming out from the back just results in the ball coming right back in again. We need changes up front, not one meaningful shot on target. Hope Pardew is not staying!

I’m sorry but Johnson is useless. His decision making wouldn’t have got him in some Sunday league teams. All he had to do there was look up once.
