I read the other day that Bournemouth are also losing Simon Francis (technical director and ex player) to a Saudi team. He's been responsible for getting in a number of impressive talents into the Bournemouth squad and then selling for huge profits. With him and Freedman maybe Saudi have realised spending mega bucks on aging stars is an awful business strategy and are instead turning towards the games top recruiters. I imagine that they're being handsomely rewarded for their troubles mind you.

Freedman's job in saudi was to redevelop and build a town/city not to be a dof at a team.
